An introduction to Greek terrorism, the urban guerrilla warfare and the legend surrounding it. 

It will focus on the demilitarization of the police force through the creation of ELAS, as well as the frequent and intense incidents of state repression. The reconstruction of the link between Greek and international (mainly Arab) terrorism and the impact of this relationship.

Vasilis Vamvakas is a Senior Lecturer in Sociology of Communication at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Faculty of Communication and Media. He is the co-editor of «Greece in the 80s. Social, political and cultural dictionary» (To Perasma, 2010, Epikentro 2014)

PanayisPanagiotopoulos is a Senior Lecturer of Sociology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, School of Economics and Political Sciences, Faculty of Political Science and Public Administration. He is the co-editor of «Greece in the 80s. Social, political and cultural dictionary» (To Perasma, 2010, Epikentro 2014).
