Alexandra Skaraki is a freelance journalist with experience in print and online outlets in Greece. Born in Thessaloniki in 1990, Alexandra studied Communications with an emphasis in Journalism and a minor in modern languages at the American College of Greece (Deree), Athens. 

In 2012, she started writing articles on cultural events, for online magazines and blogs. She has worked as an intern at the English Edition and Foreign Desk of Kathimerini, as well as the Marketing Department of Deloitte, Greece. Prior to that, Alexandra worked in the English and Photography Department of the Athens News Agency. She also works as a translator in documentary productions and participated in the making of a pilot episode for a TV documentary film, as a researcher. 

In addition, she was the communication manager for the international scientific seminars of the ALGAECOM project. 

Alexandra has also been a volunteer at the TEDxAcademy and TEDxAthens conferences, for the past three years.

She is currently a radio producer at Amagi Web Radio.
