George Markatas

George Markatas was born in Athens in 1987 and is currently a PHD candidate 

at the Faculty of Political Science and Public Administration. His research focuses on Social Theory and Sociology.

He acquired his Political Science and Public Administration undergraduate degree from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in 2010, before completing an MA in Mass Communication and Media of NKUA, with an expertise in cultural studies. His articles have been published in collective volumes both in Greece and abroad.
