Ioulietta Zindrou, is an Architect Engineer, registered in Spain and Greece. She holds a Master in Advanced Architecture from the Institute of Advanced Architecture of Cataluna in Barcelona and a Master in Photography and Design from Elisava School of Design, University of Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona. Previously she has studied Architecture at the National Technical University of Athens and the Ecole d' Achitecture la Villete, in Paris. Ioulietta has worked among others with ACTAR Architecture and Guallart Architects in Barcelona. In early 2010 she coestablished the architectural firm, ahylo studio (www.ahylo.com), which is currently leading, working on various architectural projects in Spain, Peru and Greece. Her design research, design applications and construction methodologies aim to investigate computation, digital fabrication, material technologies, sustainability and urbanism. She has lectured about algorithmic design and fabrication and about her own work in Spain, Germany, Peru, Turkey and Greece. Her architectural work has been published and exhibited internationally.
