Tasos Vrettos

Tassos Vrettos was born in Athens in 1957 and has been a photographer since 1970. He started as the head of the Photography department of the «Grammi» publishing company before he moved on to Lampraki publications. He collaborated with Manos Chatzidakis on the magazine «Tetarto». His work has been featured in nearly all Greek fashion magazines, numerous record companies and multiple Greek and international advertising campaigns. He has been published in some of the world’s most known magazines such as: Zoom, Creative Camera, Janus, Officiel and Jardin des Modes. His photographs can also be found in many books while the list of exhibitions he has participated in, is a very long one.

Spiros Staveris

Spiros Staveris was born in Athens in 1952. He lived in Paris until 1974 when he proceeded to start spliting his time between Paris and Athens. In 1985, he returned back to Greece permanently. He studied History at the Universite Paris VII and the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales. He has been working as a photographer for both Greek and International Press since 1989. He has collaborated with international publications such as: "Liberation", "L' Hebdo", "Paris Match", "Courrier International", "Magazine Air France", "France Dimanche" and "Vice", as well as numerous Greek ones such: "Gynaika", "VimaDonna", "Marie Claire", "Madame Figaro", "Look", "Ena", "Click", "Metro", "Epsilon", "Κ", "Eikones (Images)", "Vimagazino", "Tachydromos", "Big Fish", "Symbol", "01", "Eikones tou Kosmou (Images of the World)", "View", "Cover Story" and "Lifo" amongst others. He has participated in a variety of group and solo exhibitions. His work can be found in many publications on photography such as the exhibition catalogues for "The Aegean Archipelagos, an Aquatic Metacity" (2006), "Kivotos" (2010) at the Architechtural Bienalle in Venice and in collections such as: «Greece through photography: 160 years of visual testimonials», "Places and People of the Olympic Comittee" (2004) and in Vice’s special edition of  "Still Life" (2010). Some of his work belongs to the Museum of Photography in Thessaloniki as well as to private collectors. Spiros Staveris also works with the DESTE Foundation for Contemporary Art.

Petos Koublis

Petros Koublis is a photographer based in New York and Athens. His career in photography began in 2000, after many years of being a dedicated painter. Since then, his style has evolved through constant personal exploration. His work has been shown in numerous exhibitions and has been published in many known international platforms of art and design as well as in magazines. Petros Koublis is also a contributor to Huffington Post, US. He often undertakes photography projects in both Europe and the US.

Nikos Markou

The award winning photographer, Nikos Markou, was born in Athens in 1959. He studied Mathematics at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and has been working as a professional photographer since 1980. He has participated in various exhibitions both in Greece and abroad. He has also presented numerous solo exhibitions. Nikos Markou has published two collections tiltled Cosmos (Tetarto publications) and Geometries (Adam publications). He lives and works in Athens.

Costantinos Pittas

Costantinos Pittas was born in Athens, Greece. He studied engineering at the Technical University of Athens. On 1984 he started photographing in the streets of his native city and by the end of that year he had completed his first project on Athens. In the next few years he traveled extensively in Eastern and Western Europe, photographing people on both sides of the Wall. On 1989 he abandoned this project and photography as well, and "buried" his work for 25 years. In 2014, completely by chance, he discovers his old photos in his storeroom. In 2015 he publishes his book, the "Images of another Europe".

Nikos Apostolopoulos

Nkos Apostolopoulos was born in 1955. He holds a Biology degree from the University of Athens as well as a Diploma in Medical Photography from Sandwell College with an Onasis  Foundation scholarship. He has been a professional photo reporter since 1982, and a medical and scientific photographer since 1984. 

In 1992, he started teaching at the Photography and Audio-visual Arts department at the Athens TEI (Technological Educational institution). In 2008 he became a permanent Lecturer. He has curated and participated in many photography exhibitions all over Greece. 

In 1992, he was awarded with the Pan-Hellenic Fuji award for his series of athletic photographs. He is a founding member, ex Vice President and Secretary General of the board of “Photojournalists of Greece”.

He is also the author of the following books:

• “Medical Photography” (ION Publications, 2004)

• “Cyclades and the Dodecanese” (Peripheria Notiou Aegaiou Publications, 2008)
